We are the biggest, best and friendliest tubing and kayaking outfitter in Cherokee, North Carolina — home to the Oconaluftee River, which is widely known as one of the cleanest, clearest and most beautiful rivers in the SE United States. Our two locations are the only two with direct access to the Oconaluftee River.

“Big Cove” Route
This is our most popular route and the longest trip in Cherokee. All aboard our bus as we drive you two miles up Big Cove Road for a relaxing, fun-filled float down the Oconaluftee River. This trip is all nature, floating you through numerous swimming holes, fun rapids, an awesome rope swing and more. Usually a two-hour float time (depending on water conditions), but feel free to get out and play... you’re done when you float back to us (and your car). See map
“Island” Route
Drop in the river at either of our two locations and float down to the Oconaluftee Islands River Park where we will pick you up and bring you back to your car. This trip is usually reserved for guests with small children, non-swimmers, and our kayaks. It’s a one-hour float time (depending on water conditions) and is a more gentle ride with less rapids.
